I’m using Amsoil Signature Series 0w30. I let the engine break in first (5000 miles) then changed the conventional stuff out for Amsoil and their long range filter. The Yaris just runs smoother with it. I plan on going 10000 between changes and stay with the Amsoil and their filter. I’ve got 5000 on the Amsoil right now and you can’t see any color change. Color isn’t the real standard to go by though. If you are really anal about it, Amsoil offers a service that for $10 you can send in a sample and have it checked for breakdown in the lab. Do you know any other oil company that offers that? I did alot of research on their products, and couldn’ find anything but praise and outstanding performance reviews. Looks like the best, sounds like the best, must be the best.
